Shipping, Cancellation & Guarantee Policies

We typically ship orders within 1-2 business days (exception of custom/special orders).

  • FREE Shipping - We pay the shipping (including tax) on orders over $97 (subtotal after coupon applied, before applicable taxes)
  • YOU pay - You pay $25 (plus applicable tax) shipping on orders from $0 to $96.99
  • Shipping Included - No additional shipping charges will be charged for the items listed in the Shipping Included portion of our website. These items ship letter mail through Canada Post & do not include tracking. When you purchase these items you acknowledge that we cannot provide tracking information & that there is a very slight risk they may not arrive.

Order or Items missing or damaged?

You must notify us within 14 days of the shipment notification if the order or any items are missing or damaged. Please send an email to community@soapnovascotia.com including your order number, description of the damage (or if the parcel or items are missing) & photos. 

Order not picked up at the designated pickup location?

Orders are sometimes not able to be delivered to your home or Post Office Box. This occurs for a variety of reasons, including, but not limited to, attempts to deliver not being successful or the parcel not fitting in your mail box. When this happens, the shipping company will leave a notification about where to pickup. If they are not picked up within the timeframe their policies allow, they do get returned to us. 

If you would like the order shipped again, we will reship when you have paid the new shipping fee of $25.00. This applies to orders that qualified for free shipping, as the cost of shipping the first time has already been paid by us. 

If you would like the order cancelled, we will refund the amount paid minus a $25.00 shipping fee & any charges we have paid for the order being returned.

We do not price match. 

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be arranged by phone. Call us toll free at 1-844-522-2114.

If the order is cancelled before it shipped there will be no restocking or return fees. 

If the order is cancelled after it shipped the following will apply:

  1. We will email you a return label
  2. Order must be returned in excellent condition 
  3. Once the order is received back in excellent condition we will deduct the shipping cost of the initial shipment & return & issue a refund for the balance.

If, after troubleshooting and discussing, you are not satisfied with your product(s), we will offer a replacement of equal value. 

If we have not been able to resolve the problem and a replacement isn’t the solution we will issue a refund upon return of the product(s).

  • Restocking fees will apply according to the following:
  • Returned within 30 days of purchase – no restocking fee
  • Returned within 31-60 days of purchase – 15% restocking fee
  • Returned within 61-90 days of purchase – 25% restocking fee
  • Returned 91 days or after of purchase – 40% restocking fee
